Negativity in my life

This work looks closely at the negatives to help body, mind and spirit. The layers of negatives and golden silver decorative body is about transition and creation.

The whole creation of this work is oils, pens, metallic oils, developed negatives, glue and tape. The negative contain a developed imagery of chores taken throughout the creation of this piece and other art works. These chores are really a projection of a battle between upkeep maintenance of a home and working as a artist.

Each negative contains about 6 imageries of chores as well as the visual recording of domestic life. Each domestic chore is a reflection and inspirational piece from a famous artist called Mierle Ukeles-Ladermann.

Mierle Ukeles-Ladermann produced a manifesto of work that was coined maintenance art, that showed the confliction of mothering, domestic chores, and upkeep of an artist. This confliction also related to International welsh artist Bridget Evans of where she felt tied to the kitchen in and domestic chores during her creativity and relations of art.

The body related to the raw dedication of the chores, along with an insight of thought process and mindfulness. The whole piece of works is now for sale: 150.00.
