Message in a Bottle

International Welsh Artist Bridget Evans, recently was assigned an small commission for a creative writing course in Farnborough, Surrey- Hampshire Borders. The work was to write a piece about a message in a bottle and have the work displayed in the Mental Health Support Centre at Clockhouse, Mind.

However, instead of writing a piece of work - Bridget Evans drew the bottle and placed a message by the side of the paper before creating a bottle that was made of plaster paris covering and decoupage.

The letter with bottle encourages the reader to keep creative and creating and work on the art the reader enjoys regularly as part of a daily self-care. Alot of those, including Bridget attend workshops that are held by Mind, Clockhouse. The workshops usually work on personal development and issues that may occur during daily struggles with mental health and neurological dynamics.

The work is currently displayed in the lobby of the centre along with other contributions from service users. To find out more about the charity:
