New beginnings is a piece of work that represents the dynamics of domestic life and work life becoming conflicted with limited time. The white squares represent a sheer nothingness of time boundaries whilst eh red foam, are a softening time and allowance of creativity to happen.
Bridgets response of a busy lifestyle has been to cut a square, stick it and then do a house chore reflecting on her OCD of cleaning, her repeated work is driven to create a regimented outlook of time, chores and creativity confliction.
Inspired by New York Artist Mierle Ladermann-Ukeles and maintenance art, the originalities of confliction to be a mother, worker and creative thinking role is all conflicted with the insane tasks of keeping home, house and life tidy and running.
Bridget Evans - is becoming a international welsh artist that has exhibited a numerous of times in galleries in London, south and has many followers from across the world. Ba hons in creative therapies and a part time masters in fine art (deference) has made bridget who she is today. A creative solo artist of women and of welsh cultural background.
