Tate Modern

The amazing works that International Welsh Artist Bridget Evans discovered whilst visiting Tate Modern, London. The three that Bridget Selected from Tate all interrelate with her own work in some way of form and discussion.

The first piece is of rubble is a part of contemporary art installation of which you can view within the Tate Modern. The artist name was not recorded by Bridget during her visit however she found the work very inspiring.

As I think about the rubble artwork, Artist Bridget relates, the stones to crystals and semi precious gems that could be used in future work. International Artist, used diamantes in a recent picture, and did a performance of chipping away of coal on a sequin fabric piece.

Imagine a bed of loose rock on a square plinth! Now imagine the rock instead of concrete being coal. And here with the imagination is the ideas that International Welsh Artist Bridget Evans has!

The ash from coal could also be an idea. And other ideas that are suggested is crystals to glass. And so the design of this is a revolution idea for the artworld. The whole detailing and design idea surrounding this art piece really opens up with other performances that Bridget has done with the coal.

The other images that were photographed and shown here are a text. And this is a smudged text on a brown and tea stained paper. The text is barely readable. The whole imagery of this piece was appealing and gave off fresh ideas of creativity and making own pieces of work surrounded by this idea.

The smudged text was a creative source that has inspired International welsh artist Bridget Evans. The ideas that pour through are perhaps to get a type writer and do a repeated text on a tea stain paper that smudges and offers doubles and errors of text within the creativity and making of the art piece.

Other ideas is to shrink down and blow up text. Either way the text would be on the paper bagged texture of a brown bag and maybe framed on a canvas wooden frame to give it solidified look. The paper bag often has a triangled cut edging which is something that adds an authentic look to the creative idea.

The third and final choice of picture is a framed drawing. The drawing looks like some form of sketchbook idea that has been chosen to show the ideas and thinkings of the artist. The tap and bucket of water is something that has been explored by Bridget Evans last year. Earning a Living is a great extension to later pull through the creative and show of installations.

The shower scene that was curated for crypt is something that can be related to this piece of work. And so this drawing really relates to the idea of water and coal. And previous exhibitions and works have been created in-line with the subject.

The whole display of work in the Tate is always an eye catching and inspirational part of the work that Bridget would eventually love to reach as a a artist. And so as you stay tuned to bridgets work evolving - Tates yearly visits give off ideas and inspiration each time.
